Esther, whose Hebrew name was Hadassah, childhood story was not a fairytale. As a matter of fact, as an orphan, she was raised by her beloved cousin, Mordecai, who was her guardian and only parent. In attending to study her childhood and upbringing, we may discern Mordecai raised Hadassah to hath fear of our Holy One.
Peradventure, the upbringing of Mordecai disciplined Esther, the Queen for a blessed life of prayer, unwavering faith, and reverence unto the Holy One of Israel.
