Youth Pursuing Christ: Winning Souls

By Apostle Tonya

Surely, it is a most blessed honor to introduce to you the second youth in the “Youth for Christ” series.  And how I praise thy Lord for him, my dearest nephew, Josiah whom the Blessed Holy Spirit hath granted a desire to witness to those whom hath never heard of the Blessed Savior.

Might you then imagine the blessed Heart of Christ in Josiah, a freshman in High School and football player, testifying of his bold witness of Christ to the youth of his generation, dearest friends?  Oh, how I may say, I can almost hearest the cloud of witnesses in Heaven rooting for him:  Go, Josiah, go!

And so, it is my prayer you might invite a youth to read this interview.  May our youth be most encouraged in their witnessing of our Blessed One; and knowest the righteous are bold as a lion.

Our Holy Christ be glorified.  Amen.

Apostle Tonya:  Josiah, might you share with the readers of Heaven’s Pen, and most particular, the youth who shall read this interview of a memorable Scripture that Christ hast spake to your heart?

Josiah: Once I went to church the pastor said something that really struck me and I would like to share it, he said: “You can’t be dead inside and have the Spirit of God!” Meaning God, the Blood and Spirit is always with you; giving you the strength to do what you can every day.

Apostle Tonya: Oh, that is a most marvelous and encouraging word, Josiah!  Let us speaketh about witnessing about Christ now.  May you share how you feel the Holy Spirit leads You to witness about Christ to your friends who does not know Him?

Josiah: Well, when I spent time with some friends, after awhile I knew that they had no knowledge about Christ, whatsoever.  At one point, I wanted to help them and I did by sending them videos from the internet which talked about different Scriptures; and that just mainly focused on Christ.

Apostle Tonya:  What blessed witnessing for Christ, Josiah! The Scriptures remindeth us as believers of Christ that when we witness of the Savior and win souls, we are wise.  And you, dearest Josiah, are most wise!

Now, Josiah, may you giveth a teenager who may read this article a tip on how to pray to Christ Jesus?

Josiah: I would say to mainly speak the truth and speak from the heart in prayer. Remember you can tell Christ anything and you won’t have to worry about it being repeated, or people gossiping to one another about it.

Apostle Tonya:  Josiah, I think this is a most blessed tip!  It is also one I am certain might encourage the youth to be led by the Blessed Holy Spirit to meditate on the Scripture recorded in Proverbs 11:13 and practice in their friendships.

One last question, Josiah, if Jesus was dining with you alone today as He dined with His Disciples after His Resurrection (in the Book of John, Chapter 21), how might you desire your conversation to be with our Beloved Christ?

Josiah: I would mainly just ask Christ what’s the purpose of my life and how to live right.

Apostle Tonya: Praise thy Lord, for your heart, Josiah.

I might say to encourage you, I gather it is in the youth seasons of life when thy Lord is most faithful to causeth us to know of our purpose in life. And ofttimes our purpose in life may manifest in the matters dearest to our heart.

And so, Josiah, I pray Christ, in His lovingkindness grant you an answer according to Colossians 1:9.

Dearest nephew, it hast abundantly blessed my heart interviewing you; and I shall never forget it.

Is Jesus in your heart? Might you pray this prayer with me to accept Christ Jesus as your Savior?

Dear Heavenly Father, I give myself to You and confess that Jesus is Lord!  As it is written in the Holy Bible in Romans 10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

I thank You Jesus for coming into my heart now.  I declare I am saved!

And Christ, I ask You for the special Gift of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Luke 11:13 and Acts 2:4, so I may live a life pleasing to You. In Your Holy Name, I pray, Amen.
