I might say, the most profound passages in the Holy Bible that may fundamentally revealeth our Holy Father’s endearment for mothers are of Christ and His blessed mother, Mary. John 19:26-27
Continuing on speaking for a moment in today’s post of the Father’s Heart for mothers, I suppose it might be well to speaketh on a passage inscripturated in the Old Testament. Recorded in 1 Kings 3:16-28, the stunning story describes the depth of a mother’s love in a courtroom.
The wisdom of King Solomon, the judge, was magnificently manifested as he presided over the case of two women who claimed to be the mother of one child.
Might I continueth on?
For as I considereth the courtroom of King Solomon, I gather it shall be well to study how wisdom might goeth before a matter. For with wisdom, the king determined the admissible evidence of two women’s hearts was sufficient to render a verdict.
Certainly the king’s testing and examining of the abundance of the women’s hearts was most astounding. Chiefly, it proved the real mother was the one whose sacrificial heart was willing to lose her child, even to the perpetrator, in order to saveth the child’s life.
Notwithstanding the Scriptures’ account of both women’s backgrounds, the king judged love with the heart of the Father.
In King Solomon’s most intriguing verdict, I suppose our Righteous Father may also desireth believers of Christ to study these passages to learn of His heart on motherhood. Perhaps this Biblical account of a mother’s love unfairly on trial might be one of the foundational Scriptures to considereth studying on motherhood.
