Questions & Answers: Saying Grace

By Apostle Tonya

What is the Biblical significance of saying grace?

Answer:

Most surely, I praise our Holy Christ for your blessed question on the Biblical significance of saying grace whereby I might say is rooted in both the Old and New Testaments of the Scriptures.

Might I now say, most particularly in the Gospels, Christ fundamentally continue to teacheth us to honor and reverence our Blessed Father, and Provider with thanksgiving and prayer before we dine.  In this posture, with our hearts in reverence and gratitude to our Father, we might even receiveth a miraculous provision from Heaven (as the Scriptures astonishingly also record in the Old Testament). 1 Kings 17:8-16.

And so, as I considereth it, principally saying grace is the blessedness of being created to look unto and worship our Father.  For with a heart of thanksgiving unto our most Dearest Master, we might be confident that Christ shall respond and sanctify the meal whereby His Majesty alone can only affordeth.

I gather I shall conclude this answer giving thanks to Christ for the blessed passage in 1 Timothy 4:3-5 whereby remindeth us that every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving.  For it is sanctified by the Word of God and prayer.  Amen.
