So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. Esther 2:16
Our Holy God, who was most conspicuously silent in the Book of Esther certainly appeared to have bestowed His grace and favor upon His courageous, Daughter. For in her story, we are enthralled with fear and reverence for His Majesty, and an uncharacteristically humble Queen.
Surely, we might conclude it was the blessedness of Esther’s pure heart wherefore the Great Architect decided to use in His Plan to save the Jews. For such a time, she was sent to win the heart of the persian king, Ahasuerus. In it, this foremother of faith pleased her Lord and fulfilled a most dramatic and historic, Divine assignment.
