By Apostle Tonya

During many occasions I have written of a certain time in the past where I walked the path of suddenly grieving a loved one. As the Dearest Comforter graced me to heal from the long season of grieving my mother, I discovered many things about myself: I most enjoyed long walks and quiet talks with thy Lord which became a great comfort for me and caused me to be most compassionate to those who mourn.
There is invariably a valley season whereby is also birthed with the painful closure that come with the loss of a loved one’s time in the Earth. In those pivotal life-changing moments we must be certain to seek thy Lord for His strength, and healing. The Holy Spirit shall be faithful to shew us things to come in what ofttimes becometh to us an unexpected, painful and sudden new beginning. In our mourning season, thy Lord shall also be faithful to answer our prayers to giveth us His will and purposes for the new time of our lives. John 16:13
Most recently, I had the blessed opportunity to interview Troia L. Butcher whom became acquainted with grief in the losses of her loved ones and in it she subsequently birthed a ministry serving the Lord Jesus. I pray you will be most blessed by the interview.
And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Revelation 21:5
Apostle Tonya: I rejoice with you for the release of your book, Soul Ties, Letters of love. Would you share what your heart is for the reader of the book who is in a season of grief?
Troia: I wrote SoulTies, Letters of Love: Learning to live through Loss, because I needed a way to release the pain from the loss of my best friend and my grandmother. I was very angry during that period in my life and realized that I did not want to get lost in the anger and the pain, so I began to write. I started by beginning to write letters of love to some of those who passed through my life….to let them know that even though they were no longer here I carried them with me.
The book begins with my paternal grandmother who passed away when I was four-years-old and it ends with a letter to my best friend. It was meant to heal my own pain and loss, but it is my hope that others could use this book to begin their grief journey.
Apostle Tonya: Troia, would you kindly share your testimony on how thy Lord used you for His glory to birth the ministry to heal those broken-hearted because of the mourning and loss of a loved one?
Troia: I believe that I was always called to this work, but my ministry did not start fully until I experienced several significant losses in a six-month period. It was the first time I began to understand grief and I was alone. When I began my journey towards healing, I also understood that I was not the only one to feel this way, and that was when my ministry was birthed.
Apostle Tonya: What was the Scripture that the Holy Spirit spoke to you when you began to serve those whom are broken-hearted?
Troia: It was Matthew 5:4: Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted and Isaiah 41:10: Fear thou not: for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Friends, this is the first time in nearly three years of writing on Heaven’s Pen, our Holy Lord has willed me to occasionally include interviews of His Daughters whom are serving Him along with devotional prayers, and teachings on the End-times and the glory realm. Surely, it is my prayer you shall be most encouraged with the Divine features of our brethren on the Lord’s blog for His blessed glory.
May thy Lord giveth you more grace, purpose and answereth your petitions.
Holy One, we shall declare Your greatness in the Earth in unity, purity, and reverence. Amen.
